Privacy Policy
Relics (the app, we) is a daily creative-prompt app. This explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Account info: your email, a username and display name, and an encrypted password, used to create and secure your account.
- Content you make: the relics (images and optional text) you create for prompts, with their dates and a visibility you choose.
- Usage tied to your account: streaks, counts, and prompt feedback that power your stats.
- Camera and photos: accessed only when you add a photo of your creation, and uploaded only when you submit a relic.
- Waitlist: if you join from this website, we store your email so we can tell you when the app launches.
No contacts, no precise location, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party ad or analytics SDKs.
How we use it
To run your account, store and display your relics, calculate your stats, and send account emails such as confirming your address or resetting your password. We do not sell your data.
Where it is stored
With our backend provider Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) and our email provider Resend, who process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Sharing
Relics you mark as visible to friends or to everyone can be seen by those people inside the app. Otherwise we share data only with the providers needed to run the app, or when required by law. We never share your email with other users.
Your choices
- Edit your profile, and change your password, in the app.
- Delete your account in Settings, then Account. This permanently removes your account, relics, and stats.
Children
Relics is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
